Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate, The Smoking Grill earns from qualifying purchases. Some product links on the site go to Amazon. If you click one and buy something, the site may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Product images shown with those links are supplied by Amazon.
What we do not do
We have no sponsored posts or paid placements. Nobody has paid for a mention, and we have not received free products for review.
Our rules for affiliate links
- Disclosure up front. Any page with an affiliate link carries a clear notice near the top, before the first link, and links back to this page.
- Marked links. Affiliate and sponsored links are tagged
rel="sponsored nofollow"so search engines can tell them apart from editorial links. - Recommendations come first. Commission never decides what we recommend or how we rank it. If we would not use something, we will not link to it.
- Sponsored content is labeled. Anything a brand pays for, or any product given to us for free, will be labeled as such on the page.
These rules follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and online disclosures.
